The Main Library, downtown is partnering with Workforce Solutions Borderplex to help job seekers find work and improve their career opportunities.
Through this new partnership, the Main Library is housing a satellite WSB Job Center with 4 staff members onsite to provide job counseling services to the public. Job seekers will also have access to computer workstations and other library resources to utilize for job hunting, education, training and capacity building.
Job seekers can take advantage of WSB’s expert array of career and job placement services to receive support and career guidance in their pursuit of seeking gainful employment.
Those looking for start or grow their small businesses can use any of the library's resources for free including computer hardware and software, meeting spaces, databases, books, videos and other resources.
EPPL WorkPLACE can also help with business plans, marketing ideas, resources wayfinding and more.
Libraries are a part of a larger city-wide efforts to help small and minority owned businesses develop and grow. The partnership known as AccelerateEP combines the resources of it's partners to give local entrepreneurs a one-stop online resource for where to go for entrepreneurial help.
