Makerspace at Main Library
The Makerspace is an area in the library that the public can use to learn new technology, learn more about science and practice artistic expression. The Makerspace contains equipment, hardware and software that the public can use free of charge to create works of art.
Special programs relating to STEAM topics for young people (tweens and teens) take place every Saturday.
The Makerspace can be used by anyone! We have 3D printers, sewing machines, robotics and electrical engineering kits, a photo booth and a sound and recording studio.
It is open to the public every Saturday from 2 PM to 5 PM. For more information call (915) 212-READ.
