The El Paso Public Library will be unveiling a new collection of environmentally conscious books entitled Nature Matters Thursday, December 8th at 5:30 PM at the Memorial Park Branch located at 3200 Copper. The unveiling is free and open to the public. Free refreshments will be served.
The books were recently added to the collection through a private donation from Marshall Carter-Tripp. Ms. Tripp is the Director of the Centennial Museum and Gardens at the University of Texas at El Paso.
The initial collection will include thirty books with such titles as My Backyard Jungle, The Voice of the Coyote, The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating and many more. The books will be available for checkout with a valid library card. Books from the collection can be requested at any branch library.
