Temporary Borrowing Procedures
Temporary Library Cards
El Paso City residents may apply for a temporary library card by clicking on the link below. The card will give them access to online databases and digital materials such as ebooks and e-audiobooks. After applicants receive their temporary six digit number, they will be emailed their official card number. The six digit number is NOT a Library card number. This process may take 2-5 days depending on the number of registrations received. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS.
If you have a Library card, but have forgotten or lost your number or just need your PIN, please email the Ask-a-Librarian link below. There is no need to submit an online registration.
