BIBLIOAZTECA

 

 

The Artwork of over 40 local artists will be on display at four east El Paso Libraries from September 16 through December 1, 2022. The exhibits will open to the public with be four simultaneous celebrations from 6 PM to 9 PM this Friday, September 16th. The celebrations are free and open to the public.

The celebrations will include art demonstrations, musical performances, food trucks and other activities at each of the East El Paso Library locations. Those include the Esperanza Acosta Moreno branch located at 12480 Pebble Hills Blvd.; the Irving Schwartz branch located at 1864 Dean Martin Dr.; the Judge Marquez branch located at 610 N. Yarbrough Dr.; and the Sergio Troncoso branch located at 9321 Alameda Ave. Those libraries will remain open after hours until 9 PM on September 16th to welcome the artists and their work.

The art showcase entitled “BiblioAzteca” will highlight the work of some of El Paso’s most important and talented artists such as Gabriel Gaytan, Dead Punk, Nidzia Orozco, Juan Ornelas, Ashton Kaleigh, Victor Casas, and many other amazing El Paso artists!.

BiblioAzteca is a collaboration between the The El Paso Public Library and Amano Art Collective to give local artists the opportunity to express their creativity and give them more access to the local community. Art from student artists from Bel Air, Montwood, Pebble Hills, and Ysleta High Schools will be on display as well.
