El Paso History, Lower Valley Pride" by María Almeida Natividad

A native of El Paso, Texas, María Almeida Natividad grew up surrounded by the rich culture and heritage of her Hispanic background. She feels that El Paso and the surrounding desert regions possess an abundance of rich tradition and interesting history. It is an appreciation of this culture and history that she wishes to convey and encourage in her artwork and art-related activities.

The Lower Valley Knitting and Crochet Group
Meets every Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The public is invited.

Judge Marquez Library Chess Club
Join our club. Learn to play chess or polish your skills. Matches are every Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Computers

Computers are available for public use. All minors must have Internet permission. All computer users must present a library card and a pin in order to reserve a computer. The computer lab closes 15 minutes prior to closing time.
