The Great Khalid Foundation Essay Contest
Tell why you love your mom and/or dad and you could win an awesome prize for each of them!
The El Paso Public Library and the Great Khalid Foundation will once again sponsor an essay contest honoring parents this Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. The contest is open to local students from the ages of 5 to 18. To enter pickup an entry form at any El Paso Pubic Library branch click on the link below to enter online.
The contest is free to enter. All works must be original and produced without the use of any third party apps such as ChatGPT. Any plagiarized works will be disqualified. Entries should answer the question, “I love my mom/dad because…”. Essays can be written for mother and father figures such as an aunt, uncle, grandmother, grandfather or other parental figure. All students can enter both contests but entries must be submitted separately.
Winners from each of the two categories will win great prizes to present to their moms and dads on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
