El Paso Public Libraries are encouraging students and citizens of all ages to take part in their annual Summer Reading Club! This year’s theme is Unearth a Story! Registration is free and begins on June 1 and continues until August 1.
Registration begins soon at your nearest library and on Beanstack elpasolibrary.beanstack.org .
In the meantime, you can help design the 2026 Summer Reading Club bookmark! The contest is open to all ages, including adults! The deadline is May 16, 2026.
- Pick up an entry form at any El Paso Public Library location or download the form below.
- Read the complete rules and fill out the entry form.
- Design a bookmark with a theme of dinosaurs, paleontology, and/or archaeology.
- Winners will be selected from four age groups: ages 4-8, ages 9-12, ages 13-18, and ages 19+.
- Win a cool prize pack and your design printed on the 2026 Summer Reading Club bookmarks.
